ADAPTIVE BRAKE with ABS, ASR, brake drying function and hill start assist The ADAPTIVE BRAKE braking system is controlled electronically and allows for supporting functions which improve safety and comfort. For emergency stops it increase the pressure in the brake lines so that full braking power is available immediately. With the ABS antilock braking system the vehicle remains steerable even during full brake application and the ASR acceleration skid control system prevents individual wheels from spinning. The dry braking function uses automatic short brake pulses so that the brakes can function with full efficiency even when they are wet.
